Dental Implant

Implants are metal posts that replace the root portion of the missing tooth. An artificial tooth (crown) is then placed on the extension of the post (abutment), giving you the look of a real tooth.

Invisalign

A modern solution using a series of clear custom trays to align and straighten teeth. Treatment is completed with the fabrication of a dental retainer to prevent relapse of treatment.

Root Canal

This involves removing the bacteria and infected pulp from the canals within the tooth, cleaning, shaping, disinfecting and filling the root canals by sealing the empty space. This process is completed by restoring the tooth with a crown.

Nightguards/Splint

Custom-made splint act as a barrier between the upper and lower teeth to act as a cushion to lighten the tension of jaw muscles. It protects the teeth and reduces jaw pain.

Diagnostics

Includes a thorough exam of the teeth, gums and bone and an oral cancer screening. Accompanied by the necessary low radiantion x-rays, photographs and diagnostic impressions for models (if needed).

Sedation (Nitrous Oxide)

Also known as “laughing gas,” helps to ease anxiety and help you relax during dental treatment.

Periodontal Treatment

Cleaning of the gums to remove plaque and tartar to maintain gum and bone health. Decision between a regular and deep cleaning is made based on pocket depth and other clinical findings.

Extraction

Removal of a non-restorable tooth with a poor prognosis using an atraumatic technique followed by socket preservation with artificial bone to promote bone healing.

Crown and Bridges

Crowns are used to restore severely broken down teeth. Bridges help restore missing teeth and are the next common option after dental implants. Both are available in all-ceramic options which are aesthetic and stronger than the conventionally used materials.

Restoration

White fillings are used to restore decayed or damaged portion of teeth. They are bonded to the teeth and are close to the natural color of the teeth.

Veneers

Also known as porcelain laminates are very conservative restorations which are bonded onto the front surface of teeth and help to change the color, shape and appearance of the teeth.

Whitening

Both options of in-office and at-home offer easy ways to lighten the color of teeth.
