Went to Dr. Shikari for a filling in my tooth last week. The front office sent me a reminder before the appointment and checked me in efficiently. Dr. Shikari then showed me the picture of the cavity before she started working on it. She numbed the area and was very gentle with the injection, especially since I am very nervous about injections. The procedure was painless and at the end she showed me the filling with the mirror and made sure I was comfortable with the bite.
I did not have any pain after the numbness wore off and so far have no issues with the filling. The only negative is the parking at times gets full so may want to allocate some time for finding a space in the lot.

Dr Shikari is an excellent dentist and it's not because I have known her since the longest time. She continues to impress me with her skilled technique and gentle approach and recommending only the necessary dental procedures required, unlike other providers. She also provided me with an excellent recommendation for an oral surgeon for an extraction and went above and beyond to endure the whole experience was pleasant from start to finish with diligent followups and updates with the surgeon and me. Dr. Shikari's staff are very professional, yet personable and worked around my schedule to ensure they could accommodate me, specially since i was flying from from out of town for my appointment. To top of all of that, the dental office creates a relaxing ambience, with the state of the art massage chairs that I absolutely love! I find this to be a must have for those who do not like going to the dentist! I highly recommend her and her practice for a worry and hassel free experience.

I broke my tooth on a Saturday and was going to leave the country for a week. I called up the office which forwarded me to Dr. Shikari's phone. I explained my situation and she said that she would meet me at the clinic in the afternoon, even though the clinic was closed for the weekend.
She met me at the office and did an exam, showed me the tooth via a camera and took an X-ray. She patiently explained to me that she would make a temporary fix since I was leaving soon and once I was back, she would make a crown. She followed up via text when I was travelling to make sure the tooth was fine and as soon as I was back from the trip the front office promptly setup an appointment for the crown.

My dentist retired and I was so happy to find Dr. Shikari and her kind and competent staff. Going to the dentist has always been very scary for me. Dr Shikari's personality is very calming and the dental hygienist made my mouth sparkle. I felt very well cared for.

Got my fillings done with Dr. Shikari recently and the experience was very pleasant. She has a calm demeanor and the procedure was done efficiently.
The best part was the massage feature on her chair which was very relaxing and I think I may have fallen asleep at one point as well 🙂
